Kathleen Buckley, (Katy) works as the Instructional Technology Specialist for Brockton Public Schools. She facilitates technology integration workshops for teachers and administrators throughout the district of 24 schools. Katy also coordinates trainings for teachers to use the tools available in their classrooms such as, interactive whiteboards, student response systems, document cameras, audio systems, and more. She writes grants to help support her efforts in providing professional development of the use of technology in all subject areas. Katy presents 21 Century Skills in the Classroom at technology conferences as a breakout session as well as sessions showcasing web 2.0 in the classroom and beyond. Katy is a firm believer in providing support to keep teachers and administrators current in their craft.

Donna Criswell is the Instructional Technology Specialist for the K-8 Sudbury, MA Public School District. Training teachers, students, administrators and parents in the integration of technology into the curriculum has been her passion for over 27 years. With an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Masters in Educational Technology, Donna has supported technology in the classroom in a variety of ways. Teaching workshops, graduate courses, modeling in the classroom, writing curriculum and providing resources that help teachers make curriculum connections is what she does! She has presented at several MASSCUE Conferences, the Activ '08 Boston User’s Conference, the US Education Summit, July 2008, the MA Superintendent’s Technology Leadership Conference, the MassCUE Technology Leadership Symposium, several "Day of Discovery' events, among other events around the state. Donna teaches both face-to-face and online graduate courses for a variety of institutions. She currently holds the position of Chairperson for the Massachusetts Discovery Educator Network Leadership Council. Beth is a technology integration specialist at Northampton High School and works in the elementary and middle schools on assistive technology. She has been trained in the Intel Teach to the Future courses as a Master Teacher and has also taught PBS TeacherLine courses. She sees technology as a tool to reinforce, enhance and extend the curriculum and is passionate about sharing her enthusiasm when providing professional development workshops to teachers about why technology needs to be an integral component of learning for all students. In her spare time she teaches water aerobics and puts up lots of local foods for the winter.

Ann Marie is the technology integration coordinator for the middle and high schools. In her role, she works with teachers conducting professional development workshops, redesigning curriculum and assisting teachers in the classroom. Last summer, Ann Marie designed and taught a graduate level course. In a blended (online and face-to-face) environment, teachers learned about Moodle and explored the effective use of Web 2.0 tools in the classroom and for their own personal learning network. She is the author of the article, “A (Pod)cast of Thousands” which appeared in the 2007 edition of Educational Leadership. Ann Marie believes that in each one of us is the potential to do amazing things. As the poet Guillaume Apollinaire wrote:

Annie is a sixth grade special education teacher. A participant in the Berkshire Wireless Learning initiative in her district, she believes that the potential of technology is limitless, encouraging creativity and the expansion of ideas to increase the depth and breadth of knowledge so important for student success. One of her primary professional constructs is the idea that as educators we need to offer students the opportunity to grab on, hold tight, and ride the technological wave to heightened self-confidence and the realization of self.

Polly Parker - Polly is the Director of Curriculum and Professional Development at the Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative. Polly's roots in education began while working with at-risk youth and parenting teens who were focused on general educational development and life/employability skills. The blend of experience in social services, workforce development, and career and technical education prompted Polly to finish her studies in Educational Policy as well as the field of Psychometrics.

Denise Salemi comes from a diverse background. She has worked in private industry, as well as serving in many civic capacities, including School Board Member and City Councilor. She acquired her teaching degree in technology/business and taught grades 9 to 12 involving her students in many entrepreneurial projects. She is currently in an elementary school serving as the lead teacher for grades 1 to 8 in a Fast ForWord lab, a computerized neurological literacy program. She believes in living life to the fullest. Her favorite past-time is being with family and friends and sharing a good story or two, along with a good laugh.

Jessica is a Literacy Specialist at Leominster High School and an adjunct faculty member of Fitchburg State College where she teaches an Assessment of Writing and Writing Disabilities course. In these roles, Jessica works to improve teaching and learning with the aim of increased student motivation, learning and achievement. She works collaborativelywith teachers and administrators to shape curriculum and instruction,design staff development programs and incorporate a variety of instructional practices. Her mission is to help teachers recognize the potential technology has to increase student motivation and engagement and to help teachers incorporate new technologies into their instruction.
